The Washington Wizards hired Brian Keefe last offseason after serving as the team’s interim head coach down the stretch. Keefe seemed like the man the Wizards wanted to lead their long-awaited rebuild, but it also could’ve been due to their head coaching vacancy being the least appealing in the cycle. The first-year head coach has struggled at times this season with lineups, in-game decisions, and having his team prepared. The Wizards had little to no expectations this season. Still, if there’s the possibility they could land Cooper Flagg this offseason, Washington immediately becomes a much more attractive head coaching vacancy.
