Hawks vs Magic Tuesday Same Game Parlay | NBA Best Bets Today

John Canady

Host · Writer

The Atlanta Hawks will face the Orlando Magic on Tuesday night for a chance to punch their ticket into the NBA Playoffs. Both teams enter this matchup having won four of their last five games, but in the season finale, Atlanta came out on top, which could set the tone for this play-in duel. Nonetheless, with the winner set for a first-round series against the Boston Celtics with a win, it’ll be interesting to see which team wants to challenge the defending champions the most.

Here’s a look at a same-game parlay that could place you on the winning side in this divisional rivalry game.

Hawks ML +164

  • The Atlanta Hawks have quietly found a winning recipe down the stretch of the regular season, and in large part, it’s been due to the retooled supporting cast around Trae Young.
  • Atlanta and Orlando split the season series by two games apiece, but three of the four games were decided by single digits. The one outlier game was in the regular season finale, when Quin Snyder’s squad knocked off the Magic by 12 points.
  • With both teams evenly matched, this battle could go either way. Although the Hawks will be on the road in a hostile environment, I have faith in Young taking this game over, considering he seems to thrive in these situations.

Paolo Banchero 3+ Threes Made +140

  • Paolo Banchero has put together a career-year this season, averaging 25.9 points, 7.5 rebounds, and 4.8 assists, shooting 45.2% from field goal range and 32% from three.
  • Banchero has finished with 3+ threes in two of the three games against the Hawks this season.
  • In a playoff-esque game, it won’t be shocking to see Jamahl Mosley rely on his young star to take this game over. I expect the Duke product to be aggressive from start to finish, which gives me the confidence that he can knock down 3+ triples.

Trae Young OVER 27.5 Points +116

  • Trae Young is averaging 24.2 points and 11.6 assists on the season entering this matchup. The star guard tends to make it a point of emphasis to get his teammates involved from the jump, but he’s proven time and time again that he can take over a game whenever he wants.
  • The former Oklahoma standout has finished with 28+ points in two of the three games against the Magic this season.
  • Young thrives in these situations, so I think he’ll rise to the occasion in this playoff-clinching situation.
