Fortunately for the Clippers, they won’t have to deal with the Lakers’ big addition in this rivalry just yet, which bodes well for their chances to get back in the win column. With one game separating these two teams in the Western Conference standings, expect both squads to enter this showdown looking to make a statement.

Although they may not be able to steal a win on the road, it wouldn’t be shocking to see the Lakers give the Clippers a close matchup.

There’s no denying these two teams have the firepower to explode offensively on any given night, regardless of who’s on the floor. Norman Powell has taken a major leap this season following Paul George’s departure in free agency. The playmaker is averaging 24.1 points per game on the season, and in the team’s last four games, the 31-year-old has surpassed the 25-point mark three times.
