Ranking the 4 NFL Divisional Round Winners Headed to Championship Games

4. Washington Commanders
Super Bowl Odds: +800

It's an unfortunate position for a team that looked as good as they did in the Divisional Round, but someone needed to be ranked fourth. The Washington Commanders have punched their way into the NFC Championship Game with two different efforts. Still, their Super Bowl odds reflect their relative position compared to the three other teams.

The Commanders head into Championship Weekend with the longest odds on the board. While their versatility in winning games with their offense or defense bodes well for their future, they're at an immediate disadvantage on Sunday.

Washington will be playing their fourth straight game on the road against the Super Bowl favorite. They still have a puncher's chance in the NFC Championship, but they're a distant fourth in our rankings.

3. Kansas City Chiefs
Super Bowl Odds: +210

The Kansas City Chiefs' position in our rankings comes with a caveat -- we're only considering the Chiefs without the added help from the officials. Kansas City again benefitted from a few curious calls against the Houston Texans, scraping out a win on ref-assisted scoring drives.

Objectively, the Chiefs were the worst team in their matchup with the Texans. KC managed just 212 yards of total offense, looking uninspired with their rushing or passing attacks. Moreover, they were out-gained by 124 yards, allowing Houston to dictate possession and move the ball with relative ease.

As usual, the Chiefs are near the top of the Super Bowl futures board. However, their more modest odds in the AFC Championship Game, currently listed as -1.5 chalk, reflect the lack of confidence in the AFC West winners.

2. Buffalo Bills
Super Bowl Odds: +260

The last thing Buffalo Bills fans need is hope. But that's exactly what Josh Allen and the Bills' defense inspired with their latest effort. Granted, the Baltimore Ravens beat themselves in the end, but that doesn't diminish Buffalo's resounding effort.

Buffalo's defense has been one of the best at turning the ball over this season. The Bills ended the regular season with the second-most takeaways in the league, followed by another solid performance in the Divisional Round. They forced the Ravens into an interception and two fumbles on Sunday, turning the tide and potentially saving their season. Maintaining that standard against the Chiefs gives the Bills the best shot of returning to the Super Bowl for the first time since 1993.

It will take all of Allen's might, but don't be surprised if the Bills pull off a stunning upset in the AFC Championship Game.

1. Philadelphia Eagles
Super Bowl Odds: +180

Not surprisingly, you'll find the Super Bowl favorites atop our list of Divisional Round winners. The Philadelphia Eagles relied on their typically stout defense to corral a feisty Los Angeles Rams team, earning their way into the NFC Championship Game for the second time in three years.

The Eagles did just about everything right against the Rams. Saquon Barkley was able to break free, pacing the Eagles to 285 rushing yards. Their defense pressured Matthew Stafford, sacking the Rams' quarterback five times. And Jalen Hurts did what he needed to with the passing game to keep the chains moving.

The only knock on Philadelphia's performance was their inefficiency in the red zone. The Eagles failed to convert both of their red zone possessions into touchdowns. Hopefully, that doesn't haunt them against a dangerous Commanders team.
